The Jewel Box set
This is a pattern for a knitted tammy, beanie, and mitts/fingerless gloves worked using the stranded colourwork technique and worked in the round.
The pattern includes colour and symbol charts.
TAMMY & BEANIE
yarn:
Shetland 4ply by Gathered Sheep Yarns; Fingering; 100% Pure Shetland Wool; 233yds (213m) / 55g

CC1 (The Grass is Greener) - 50yds/46m 40yds/37m
CC2 (Milk) - 80yds/74m 75yds/69m

2.75mm (us no 2) circular, 16in/41cm
3.0mm (us no 2.5) circular, 16in/41cm and DPNs 6in/15cm
gauge: 28 sts x 31 rows = 4in/10cm
measured over stranded stockinette on larger needles
Some knitters work stranded and single-coloured at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep gauge the same throughout.
