The Journey of The Aviator
This aviator hat could be used as a photography prop or warm up your little traveler during the autumn and winter.
Girly or boyish colours, classical, timeless or funky colours, it is yours to decide ! You could even line the hat with some polar fabric for more warmth.
The earflaps and front flap are knitted flat, then everything is smoothly and effortlessly joined together so you can continue knitting in the round.
Sizing
Preemie (Newborn, Baby, Toddler, Child, Small Adult, Large Adult)
Finished circumference: 12” (14”, 16”, 18”, 19.5, 21.25, 23”) inches
Additional instructions are also given if you want to add straps (with or without button)
Materials : 70 (90, 115, 130, 140, 180, 230) yards of Worsted yarn, Double pointed and circular needles (US #6/4 mm), 2 1’’ buttons, stitch marker, stitch holders
Skills : Knitting in the round, backward cast on (casting on stitches after a row), K2tog
