The Kakadu Lace Shawl
TAustralia is being ravaged by terrible bushfires.
ALL profits from January sales will go to the Australian Bushfire appeal.
All patterns are 10% off for January.
his beautiful shawl is an example of easy lace knitting, i.e. the design row alternates with rows of plain knitting. A delicate lace motif is repeated through the body of the shawl and a more elablorate motif is used on the final border.
Designed to be knitted from 400 yards of your favorite lace yarn.
Semi-circular in shape, the shawl is the perfect shape for a wrap, and light enough to make a lovely scarf.
The colors of this yarn are the colors of Kakadu - a world heritage listed park of exceptional rugged beauty in outback Australia.
