The Kate Cardi
Looking for something fun to knit? How about the ‘Kate Cardi? Its a short and sweet sweater, designed to wear over a dress on a chilly day but also looks great over a long sleeved t-shirt and jeans. Add a vintage button or brooch to make it unique - lots of possibilities! Knits up nicely with a worsted weight wool or cotton. (For a small, you will need 300g of bulky weight yarn. A medium about 350g and a large about 400g)
The project requires basic knitting skills, but is not complicated. This is a good sweater to try if you are a beginner. It is knit from the top down, all in one piece on circular needles. No sewing required at the end!
