Garment description:

The Knitted Tee is the knitted version of a classic T-shirt. The shaping was carefully thought out to achieve a very simple and clean look. It is seamlessly worked top-down entirely in one piece, which also allows you to adjust the length of the tee and sleeves to your own preference and body. The simplicity of this tee makes it the perfect canvas – live out your craziest colorwork dreams! Add embroidery! Make a long sleeve version for the fall!

Sizing:

This tee pattern has been written and tested for 7 sizes. Measure yourself at the widest part of your bust and choose your size accordingly. If you are between sizes, I recommend you choose the one closest to you!

A - 71-76 cm (28-30 in)
B - 81-86 cm (32-34 in)
C - 92-97 cm (36-38 in)
D - 102-107 cm (40-42 in)
E - 112-117 cm (44-46 in)
F - 122-127 cm (48-50 in)

I - 152-158 cm (60-62 in)

The garment has approx. 0-5 cm/0-2 in of positive ease.

Two additional sizes (G-H, 132-147 cm/52-58 in) were written but not tested. They are included in the pattern as I believe they are correctly graded after the feedback on the other tested sizes. If you are unsure and would like to knit these sizes, please reach out to me.

Gauge:

10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) square = 16 sts x 17 rows in stockinette in the round with 5mm (US 8) needles (after being blocked)

Suggested Needles:

5mm (US 8) & 4mm (US 6) circular knitting needles (preferably interchangeable needles with a small cord, approx. 40 cm/16 in, and a long cord, approx. 100 cm/40 in)

Other materials:

Measuring tape
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Scissors
Stitch holder or scrap yarn to hold stitches

Yarn:

Any DK to Worsted/Aran yarn. DK should create a lighter tee with more drape while Worsted/Aran should create a sturdier tee. If you are a loose knitter, I recommend opting for a Worsted or Aran yarn. If you are a tight knitter, I recommend a DK or light Worsted yarn. Fibers such as cotton, linen or bamboo will create breathable fabrics with lots of drape, while others such as wool or acrylic will create warmer fabrics with more structure.
