J hook (6 mm) or whatever size needed to obtain gage
Gage (3 inches, by 3 inches)
Gage pattern- ch 10, in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc, sc in each stitch across, (repeat for a total of 10 rows of sc.)
Yarn- BARCELONA (loops and threads) heartbeat
Stitches used
Ch -chain
hdc - half double crochet
DC -double crochet
FPDC-front post double crochet (crochet around the front of the post of the dc from previous round)
BPDC- back post double crochet (crochet around the back of the post of the dc from the previous round)
Bean stitch- yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook, ch 1.
i do not count my beginning chains as stitches
