The KOBE Beanie is a textured hat with a ribbed brim. This pattern includes both super bulky and bulky versions of the hat.

YARN:
For Super Bulky version:
 1 skein of Super Bulky (6) weight yarn
Recommended: Malabrigo Rasta (150g / 90yds)

For Bulky version:
 1 skein of Bulky (5) weight yarn
Recommended: I used an indie dyed yarn on a 3-ply Bulky base (100g / 109yds)

NEEDLES:
For Super Bulky version:
 US 11 (8.0mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
 US 13 (9.0mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
 US 13 (9.0mm) Double Pointed Needles (optional)

For Bulky version:
 US 9 (5.5mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
 US 10.5 (6.5mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
 US 10.5 (6.5mm) Double Pointed Needles (optional)
