The Konstancia Ear Warmer pattern is very simple with a great texture. It has a 2-row repetition, which is easy to memorize.

MATERIALS
Worsted Weight (#4) Yarn (approx. 90 yards, using Hobby Lobby Soft & Sleek yarn)
Crochet Hook Size I | 5.5 mm (or size to obtain gauge)
Scissors
Tape Measure
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Markers

GAUGE: 14 sts x 16 rows = 4 inches

FINISHED MEASUREMENT: 4.5” (height) x 21” (circumference – unstretched)

NOTES

1. Read the pattern carefully before starting.
2. This pattern is worked sideways and then seamed together at the end, from the top down.
3. The beginning ch 1 does NOT count as a stitch.
4. • • repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed or repeat at specified locations.
5. When you see a st – BLO, this means to work that specified st in the Back Loop Only.
6. Not all heads conform to size by age; please measure for a more accurate fit. If you want to adjust the size of your ear warmer, you should add/subtract 2 rows and end with Row 3. If you want your ear warmer to be bigger or smaller (circumference-wise), add/subtract a few chains to the foundation chain. Note that the main pattern repeat is a multiple of 3 stitches.
