Release the Kraken!

This shawl pattern features the motif of a Kraken, a mythical giant squid much feared by early sailors. This yarny beast is more of the hug-giving variety, though, so fear not!

The Kraken is the eighth addition to the Fantasy Art Knits ebook. Special note on printing out the pattern - Charts 7, 12, 13, 14, 17, and 18 are placeholder charts with one stitch on them. They do not need to be printed.

This is an intermediate level pattern. Prior double knitting experience is highly recommended.
