Skill Level: Beginner

This is a photo tutorial for a joining technique only. The join can be used for motifs and granny squares and uses basic stitches and chains. The join does not have a ridge on one side and lies flat. The join does show so using materials that coordinate in color, size, and style is critical to the overall look of the piece.
