Crocheted garments for adults are making a come back and I just knew I had to try my hand at designing one this summer! :D This tank top was so fun to design. I couldn’t decide on just one option for the bottom of it so I added 2! :D Option #1 is a nice finished edge that allows for a little looser fit around the waist. Or choose Option #2 and add a little more style to your top with a wide buttoned waistband (this is my personal favorite as it helps to conceal the unwanted “muffin top”.

I chose Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn because it has a perfect drape for this stitch pattern and it’s a nice, soft, cotton yarn, perfect for warm summer days. Another yarn that is similar in thickness and drape (such as Caron Simply Soft) would work well also.

This top was sized using the standard Craft Yarn Council’s size charts and then there was 2” of positive ease added so that it could fit nicely over a cami or other top. The sizes included are Women’s Extra Small thru 3X. There are also many notes and tips included to help you choose just the right size.
