The Lavender Children
Can you imagine the Lavender Children dancing in the summer meadow?
I can and it makes me smile. As always I hope my designs bring you joy!
Supplies: 12 mm wooden beads (I use both light and dark colored beads for a diversity of dolls), pipe cleaners, small amount of stuffing for hat, or you can sew a small cloth bag and put some lavender inside.
Construction
• a body, knit in the round from bottom to hat top.
• arms, (one I-cord) knit in one piece and slid into position through arm holes.
• wooden bead head that stays in place with a pipe cleaner.
• yarn hair added with a tapestry needle.
