The Leftover Mittens
These mittens are made of small amounts (5–10 grams) of leftover yarn, but make sure the yarn has similar yardage. I have used sock yarn that measures about 400 m/100 gram. You need at least 12 different colours, but the more colours you use, the better!
Half of the leftovers should be a darker colour and half of the leftovers should be a lighter colour to make sure there is enough contrast between the two colours used for one pattern repeat.
The technique used is stranded purl stitches which is time consuming but looks brilliant when done!
This pattern is in both English and Swedish.
