The LEO Beanie is a colorwork hat with a ribbed brim.This pattern includes both super bulky and bulky versions of the hat.

YARN:
For Super Bulky version:
Super Bulky (6) weight yarn in two contrasting colors. Approximately 90 yds total (55 yds of Color A and 35 yds of Color B). Recommended: Lion Brand Yarns Wool-Ease Thick & Quick (170g / 97yds). This is enough yarn for 2 beanies.

For Bulky version:
Bulky (5) weight yarn in two contrasting colors. Approximately 100 yds total (55 yds of Color A and 45 yds of Color B). Recommended: Lion Brand Yarn Color Made Easy (200g / 247yds) or any indie dyed yarn on a 3-ply Bulky base (100g / 109yds). This is enough yarn for 2 beanies.

US 13 (9.0mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
US 15 (10.0mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
US 15 (10.0mm) Double Pointed Needles

For Bulky version:
US 9 (5.5mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
US 10.5 (6.5mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
