The Little Blackheath Jumper
The Little Blackheath Jumper is a thick, cozy, warm, colourful, fun, jumper for your toddler and young child in three sizes 2,4 and 6.
A quick and easy knit.
Inspired by Icelandic knitting, knitted in the round on circular needles and colour work, 2 strands of 8ply yarn, or 12ply yarn.
Row by row instructions for colour work, with some progress photos. No chart.
The finished jumper measures 60cm chest measurement for size 2 years old, 63cm for size 4years old, and 66cm for 6 years old.
Knitted on 6mm needles with two strands of 8ply the tension is 14 stitches and 22 rows to a 10cm square.
You’ll need between 6 to 8 balls of 50 gram yarn, in three different colours. New yarn or use up scrapes you already have. Choosing natural fibres and colours is always a more natural way to go.
