With this clear written pattern, you can make super cute and realistic fox cubs. If you feel like it you can even make them parents with my Flamsie the fox pattern! This .pdf crochet pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.

Size
If you use the recommended yarn, your cubs will be 6 inch / 15 cm long

Materials
For the crochet fox cubs you’ll need worsted weight yarn (Lètt Lopi) and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You also need a D US/3 mm crochet hook for the nose. You’ll need three colours of yarn: apricot orange 1704 (1/8 of a 100-yard skein) and a small amount of light beige heather 0086 and chocolate heather brown 0867. For the nose I’ve used the darkest brown called black sheep heather 0052. For the eyes I’ve used 6 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill. A pipe-cleaner to make the tail bendable is optional.

Yarn
Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result.

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.
