This 3-in-1 pattern is for a textured Beanie with a fur pom, a messy bun beanie, and a Slouchy The texture is obtained by using several techniques, HDC in “third loop”/Camel Stitch, Front Post/Back Post Half Double Crochet, and Front Post/Back Post Double Crochet. I would set this skill level at advanced beginner/intermediate. This pattern includes a photo tutorial for the third loop/Camel stitch, and links to video tutorials for the FP/BP HDC and FP/BP DC. The pattern is for a Teen/Adult size, with changes for an XL Adult size. This Beanie works up quickly and can easily be customized with color changes for stripes, fur or regular poms, or no pom!
