This design was named for the River Loddon, where I was oh so lucky to spend a beautiful day fishing for Rainbow Trout! The look of this beanie adds that little touch of elegance to any outfit.

This design is written for either worsted or bulky weight yarns! The instructions include provisions for both within the same pattern.

The pattern includes sizes premie, baby, child, teen/adult small and adult medium/large. Instructions are included for decreasing in a way that preserves the pattern too!

The pattern has been tested by amazing knitters and is easy to read and understand - it is an intermediate level knit, as it relies on cables to create the texture.

This pattern is ideal for worsted weight / Medium (4) weight OR bulky (5) weight yarns. Required needle sizes (US 6 & 8 for worsted; US 8 and US 10.5 for bulky) and approximate yardage for each size are specified in the patterns. The worsted version requires 50-185 yds, while the bulky version requires 30-120 yds. It is ideal for a single skein project for most yarns.
