The Log cabin hat was inspired by the Little Log Cabin Squares, a free recipe, designed by Ann Weaver from Plied Yarn Co.
Six squares are knitted then attached using the three needle bind off. Stitches are then picked up for the top of the hat. Cables are worked while the hat is being decreased. Stitches are then picked up for the bottom of the hat and then the corrugated ribbing is knit downwards, so that the length can be adjusted. The brim is finished with an i-cord bind off.

The hat is written for 3 sizes.

This is a great stash busting project.
