the Logan Blanket
This pattern combines common stitches within crochet. It begins with a foundation chain and is then worked in the lovely, textured alpine stitch. it works up beautifully in almost any color or combination of colors. It is finished off with a simple, yet classic edge using moss and crab stitches.
The published pattern is written for a blanket that is approximately 32-36” squared, but can easily be adjusted. It can be worked into a rectangle if preferred. It can also be adjusted to other sizes if the crocheter is adventurous and wants to adjust their starting chain and do some yarn calculations.
Be caution as this particular stitch (alpine) is a “yarn eater” and tends to work up slow. The effort is worth the squish and comfort, but patience may be warranted.
