FYI:
Alpaca With A Twist is a fairly pricey yarn. You should know that I made a very nice - if a bit scratchy - rendition of this shawl with Lion Brand Fisherman’s Wool. It’s the brown tweedy one in the photos. To be honest, that yarn is probably a lot closer to the wool that would have been on the needles in Jane’s day.
