the long goodbye SHAWL
The long goodbye SHAWL is an asymmetrical triangle shawl that is split up by garter stitch into sections of interesting textures. The ebb and flow of both mindless and engaging knitting makes for a meditative project. Although the majority of the shawl relies on basic knit and purl stitches, there is a small section of lacework along with sections of ribbing where you will knit or purl through the back loop.
The long goodbye SHAWL is knit flat. The instructions are written, but I have provided some charts for visual guidance for the trickier sections.
