DESIGN DETAILS:
This skirt is worked from the top down. A draw string is added last.
The pointed motifs are referred to as “petals”, as they are emulating the petals of a lotus flower.
In Section C, petals will be build in an alternating fashion with the lace details facing the right side of the skirt.
HELPFUL TIPS:
After each round, check to make sure your pattern is consistent and that the previous round is closed.
SIZING:
This is a recipe pattern and can be customized to have 0-3 inches of ease, depending on design desires. Feel free to play with the gauge of the skirt and use a smaller hook toward the top to create more coverage and then use a larger hook size toward the bottom to create more movement in the lace.
