Why do I call this “The Lucky One”? While I was traveling this spring, I had all my work with me in my car. Lots of yarn, several projects I was working on, and my notebook with a year’s worth of written notes and patterns. All was stolen right out of my car. Someone broke the window and took my entire stash, except for this one which was the only thing left lying in the back seat. I was halfway done with it. I had to recount stitches up and around and finally, I worked it out for a second time. This one is a true beauty. It is intricate and challenging yet not hard to do. You’ll love how it keeps you engaged and focused while you knit your lucky beanie. Add some length to the brim and with the negative ease, it’s perfect for larger circumferences. This hat is worked in the round starting from the bottom up. It is one size and can fit women, teens, and some men.
