The Luna Cardigan is a fully customizable, over-sized, chunky, patch-less patchwork cardigan. It is beginner friendly with size suggestions for a one size fits most option (as seen in the example photos) along with sizing for XS-5XL.

This pattern is also equipped with a design template you may download and fill out to plan your design and to crochet them in the correct order (along with the template with the original Purple design and colors as seen in the example photos.)

This pattern is a made-to-measure pattern, with suggestions for different sizes from XS-5XL. If your size isn’t listed, follow the instructions under “Sizing“ to figure out your desired fit for the cardigan. However, as this is meant to fit oversized and cropped, feel free to adjust as needed for a perfect fit for you!

Sizing

The size suggestions listed are meant to fit extremely oversized just as the original Luna cardigan fits on the model. Follow the instructions under “sizing“ to change up the fit if there is a different desired size.

How you size this project depends on how you want the cardigan to fit. (For reference, the original Luna cardigan fits extremely oversized with the body of the cardigan going sweater to sweater.)

For the suggested sizes listed, we do suggest the pattern fitting oversized. Each of the suggestions is roughly 2 letter sizes bigger (i.e. a size XS would fit a true medium more snuggly). If you do not wish for it to be so oversized, then we suggest doing a measurement based on the instructions below or size down by two. Also note that if you go down sizes, the length of the cardigan may be shorter, so feel free to add squares as you go for a longer length.
