Good pattern for knitters who don’t like to sew!
Wonderful pattern for mums who prefer the no-struggle-to-dress styles for babes and toddlers.
No buttons or closure, just slip over the head, stuff arms in sleeves and you’re good to go. Perfect fit in car seat too!
Using a chunky yarn (around 14 sts on 6mm) will fit most babies from 9 mos to 2 yrs. Grows with them.
Using a DK yarn and 4.5 needles will fit up to 5-8mos.
Vary size by changing yarn and needle size
if you’re a tight knitter go up at least .5mm needle size.
This pattern works best if there’s some drape to it.

We used Diamond Select Chroma for the 1st photo
Vikinggarn DK for the 2nd photo (blue) 4.5 needles
Chunky Marble (JC Brett) for the brownish one
Diamond Select Pure Wool Roving and diamond Luxury Andes Handpaint for the Green with variegated stripe
Noro Maiko worsted for the pink one
And Chunky Marble for the red and pink variegated
