The lure of the sea - the call of the adventure but the risk that goes along with it. Beautiful, but duplicitous. This circular yoke jumper is knit seamlessly from the top down, featuring bold, high-contrast lighthouse motifs to keep you safe during your own storms. Additional details can be added in the form of wave detail on the sleeve just above the cuff, and the potential for consistent beadwork to give your lighthouses that extra sparkle.

This jumper is inspired heavily by the idea that knitting is many people’s port in a storm. Used to relax them, and provide a quiet twenty minutes in a sea of seemingly unending, unrelenting waves of life, the progress of knitting a sweater calls to you just like a port of a storm but be careful - you can easily end up ruined on the rocks by ignoring too much of the demands of life!

The suggestion of DK - 20 stitches in 28 rows makes up 10cm on 4mm needles.

The Lure of the Sea jumper is a unisex, size-inclusive yoked colorwork sweater knit seamlessly from the top down. 2 versions of the chart are provided, one has the colours reversed for easier reading.
