Inspired by the legends of mythical creatures, magic flowers, and miracle potions.

The Magic Flower of Fern Socks were designed for the Solid Socks Ravelry group’s Mystery KAL for the months of October through November 2019.

There are 4 Clues in total which will be released on the following dates:
Clue #1 – October 1,
Clue #2 – October 8,
Clue #3 – October 15,
Clue #4 – October 22.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 skein of Alize Superwash 100
(75 % wool, 25 % polyamide; 420 m 460 yds / 100 g).
Needles: size 2.5 mm / US 1½ circular needles,
at least 80 cm / 32” long (or suitable size to obtain the gauge).
These socks are knitted using the “magic loop” method, however, you can use double pointed needles if you prefer. Just be aware that the instructions refer to Needle 1 and Needle 2 (meaning each half of the total stitch count).
Other: stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle, row counter.
Gauge: 30 stitches and 42 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette Stitch, measured after blocking. Take time to knit a swatch, as the correct gauge is essential for well-fitting socks.
Sizes: Women’s Small (S), Medium (M) and Large (L),
which is equivalent of 66, 70 and 74 stitches.

Спицы: круговые 2,5 мм, длиной не менее 80 см.
Инструкция написана для круговых спиц (метод magic loop), но можно вязать и чулочными спицами. Просто имейте в виду, что в описании указаны спицы 1 и 2 (на каждой находится половина общего числа петель).
Другое: маркеры для вязания, дополнительная спица для вязания кос, игла для сшивания петель мыска, счетчик рядов.
Плотность: 30 петель * 42 ряда = 10 * 10 см при вязании лицевой глади.
Размеры: женские маленькие S (36–37), средние M (38-39), большие L (40-41),
что соответствует 66, 70 и 74 петлям набора.
