Marcato is a musical term, that is a triangle shaped direction that means played with emphasis. This shawl was named by members of my facebook group that each saw the same shape in the pattern!
Supplies:
One Full 464 yard/100 gram skein of What the Flock hand dyed Yarns and fiber Shown in “Crazy Unicorn ” on the sockxtra base.
One US size 6 needle circular needle. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge after blocking is 18 stitches by 24 rows in body of the shawl stiches after blocking.
4 stitch markers
Yarn needle to weave in ends
Stitches needed:
Knit (K) Purl (P)
Place Marker (PM) Slip marker (SM)
Yarn Over (YO)
Center Double Decrease (CDD)
