The Marilyn top is a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means you measure yourself as explained in the pattern and then follow the pattern instructions. This makes it completely versatile and can be made for any age and size.
The pattern is an advanced beginner level and uses US terminology. The pattern contains written instructions, charts and pictures throughout each step.
You will need any type of 4ply (fingering weight) cotton or mixed blend yarns and a 3mm crochet hook.
I used roughly 600m of yarn for the sample size (small UK 8).
