This is a Beginner/Easy pattern. It assumes beginner level knowledge of basic crochet stitches, and provides a full photo tutorial for the unique yet simple herringbone construction. Chart and schematics are also included.

Size 3/Light worsted/DK yarn (Comfy Cotton in Whipped Cream and Ocean Breeze used)
5mm (USH) crochet hook
2 x stitch markers
yarn needle
scissors

Yardage:
Main Color: 390 yds / 334m
Contrast Color: 390 yds / 296m

Gauge: (worked flat)
15 sts x 8 rows = 4” (10cm) in dc - lightly steam blocked.

Finished measurements:
Wingspan: 54in / 138cm
Length (to point): 30in / 76cm
