The Mariposa skirt pattern is a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means it can be made for all sizes but you take your own measurements and follow the steps. The pattern is an intermediate skill level, however I believe it is also suited for advanced beginners as I have provided detailed steps and pictures throughout which makes it easy to follow.

You can make this skirt, mini, midi or maxi and you can make it with or without the lace edging.
You will need any type of 4ply fingering weight cotton yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. I used rainbow 8/4 yarn from hobbii, you will need roughly 380m of yarn for the size XS (UK 6), however I advise getting more if you are making your skirt a midi or maxi. You will also need some thin elastic (2-4m), this will be added into the waistline for the perfect fit and hold.
