Then I started playing with my previous designs and realized the Mattie Beanie was always meant to be on the Ravencraft Beanie. They were meant to be. Named for two of the very best women I know, this beanie delivers gorgeous texture, a marveous fit, and endless color combinations. Grab some fabulous patches or buttons to finish off the brim.

Worsted Weight (#4) yarn - 100 to 200 yards
5.0 mm (H) crochet hook & 6.0 mm (J) hook – or sizes needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry Needle
Measuring Tape

Tag/Patch (optional)

Skill Level
Intermediate - knowledge of foundation half-double crochet, single crochet, half-double crochet, working in the 3rd loop, single crochet decreasing, and slip stitch are necessary. Detailed instructions for special stitches are included in the pattern, along with several photos & video tutorials.
