I came out with The “Mayan” Ponchos in 2004 and they are still my personal favorites.

The big delta stitches are alternated with rows of double trebles and make the most interesting pattern. I love the tribal effect which inspired my choice for the Name.

THE MAYAN:
Crocheted in the Traditional V Style

MAYAN ROUND:
Crocheted in uniform length in the Round.

MAYAN SHORTIE:
Shortened to a Ponchette length.

All are crocheted in a worsted weight cotton.

These are BIG stitches and all the ponchos work up really quickly.
