This very easy, bottom up shawl was inspired by my friend Melinda. To know her, you would see that most of her knitting is for charity or gifts. That is why I choose a simple shape that complements most people. Melinda also does lots of travel knitting so I knew that the design needed to be simple enough that carrying the pattern wouldn’t be necessary. Both the lace and garter sections are simple 4 row repeats. I designed this shawl to end where you would like it to end. 1 skein? 2 skeins? 5 skeins? Your choice. Once you start to knit it, you can see the pattern and can choose the size and amount of yarn as you knit.
