The Mermaidia top is a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means you measure yourself and follow the instructions from there. The pattern is an advanced beginner level, however I have included very detailed steps and pictures throughout. I have also included a chart for the lace edging for those who are more visual learners.
You will need any type of 4ply (fingering weight) cotton yarn in 3 colours. I used roughly 540m of yarn for the size XS (UK 6), I used 260m of the cream colour, 180m of the purple and 100m for the green. You will also need a 3.5mm crochet hook and some stitch markers.
You can use thicker yarn if you prefer as this is a made to measure pattern, however please note that you will need to go up a hook size and your gauge may differ.
