A reticule is a smaller drawstring hand bag that became popular in the 18th century as purses or opera bags for women.

This little bag would make a perfect bridal bag for small necessities, work well as make up pouch, or every day use as just something small to carry your keys, phone, and money in while out walking.

Uses about one ball of Aunt Lydia’s #10 cotton crochet thread, and a 1.75mm crochet hook.
Measures about 9 inches deep, with the width at the folded top about 7.5 inches. (Opening circumference 15 inches)

The pattern is mostly repeating rounds. Brief instructions for the back and front post stitches, and making the tassels included with a few pictures to assist the instructions.
