The Star Mesh Crochet Jumper

About this pattern

Pdf made-to-fit crochet pattern
English only - US terms
Beginner/intermediate friendly

This pattern includes 10 pages of written instructions (along with pictures and diagrams) on how to crochet this jumper. This pattern is beginner friendly and takes around 12-16 hours to make

What the pattern includes

The pattern includes written instructions, diagrams and pictures on how to crochet and construct the jumper. Along with a size guide to help you calculate how many stitches you need, for your wool, to make your ideal size.

“Made-to-fit” sizing

Taking 4 measurements from a jumper of the size you want, you will use a tension gauge and these measurements in a simple maths formula to work out the numbers you need for your ideal size.

Instructions on how to do this are included in the pattern.

What is needed for this pattern

  • 4mm hook
  • 150-350g double knit yarn (my preference is cotton or acrylic, but any will do)
  • (Optionally) 20-50g of a secondary colour of double knit yarn
  • Scissors
  • A needle Measuring tape

Who is this pattern for?

This is a beginner to intermediate pattern, and as long as you are comfortable with filet and surface crochet you will be able to make these arm warmers, making it a pretty universally accessible pattern.

There is also some very basic maths involved (this doesn’t extend past addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and all maths is clearly outlined and explained).
