If you are looking for a lovely gift for a little girl, or yourself, that works up easily, feels so nice and is so pretty, you will like the “Michelle Blanket”. It is made using the beautiful “Suzette” stitch (which I have used for cowls, scarves, and hats.) But it is perfect for a blanket. And that could be a baby blanket, child’s blanket (this one) or one for an adult, to snuggle up with on a cold winter night!

You will notice that the color blocks are not equal in size. That was purposeful and not totally planned. How can that be? Well, in this case, I wanted to have different sized blocks, but instead of planning them out, I just used colors of Vanna’s choice yarns from my stash. Some were new skeins and some were leftovers from previous projects. So, this is a “stash-busting” project, too!! :). Now it doesn’t have to be that. You can totally plan out if you would like each block to be the same number of rows or they can be purposefully different. But, in this case, I let my yarn dictate to me the size of my blocks. When I ran out of a color, I moved on to the next!!
