Originally designed as a Santa hat for an American Girl doll.

Pattern calls for worsted weight yarn in two colors: MC = hat (red) and BC = band (white), plus a fuzzy/glittery/textured baby-to-sport weight yarn (CC, white) to be worked along with BC for the outer band.

Gauge: Not critical, approx. 4-5 sts/in

Needles: Size needed for preferred gauge, 4 to 6 US for inner band, 6 to 8 US for rest of hat.
