Meet the Mini Granny’s Monster. What could possibly be better than mixing monsters and granny squares together? Why, making them mini-sized, of course!

This monster can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My monster is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using four different colors:

• Raspberry (50 yards)
• Pink Poodle (15 yards)
• Aqua (15 yards)
• Duckie (15 yards)

The Mini Granny’s Monster is an intermediate-to-advanced level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, double crochet, increases, decreases, basic granny square construction, joining yarn using SC and DC, crocheting into the bottom of the foundation chain, embroidering eyes using yarn and some seaming.

This pattern is is a little different than other Monster’s Toy Box pattern, but I made sure to include plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your groovy Granny’s Monster.
