The Minimalist
An artist’s mind is usually chaos. It’s chaos being slowly sorted into something beautiful that flows out of a pen, a paintbrush, or even a pair of needles. My mind is constantly in search of the next great idea--something more innovative, extravagant, and impressive. This style of pointed cowl became my main canvas over the years. It’s what I have fallen in love with, and what I have become known for. But when you make multiple of something, it becomes a challenge to make each one unique. There’s always a push to outperform the last design. This time, rather than adding more complexities, I decided to take it back to the basics. Simple stockinette, made special with the halo of brushed suri--the ultimate form of organized chaos.
This one is for the people who strive for simplicity in a complex world. It’s an incredibly soothing knit, perfect for binge-watching your favourite show, or for when you can only knit 10 minutes at a time. Find comfort in the fact that you can pause in the middle of a row, knowing you can pick it up and continue at any time.
