This baby blanket is knit on the bias, starting at one corner and is worked diagonally until you reach the opposite corner. A pretty eyelet edging around the whole blanket adds a delicate feature. This blanket is knit with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together. Because the yarn is held double, the yarn weight is the same as bulky yarn, making the blanket relatively quick to knit up. Holding 2 strands of yarn together also makes the fun ombre/fade look possible.

This blanket can be knit in a variety of colors and stripe patterns- it would also make a great stash busting project!

If you would like to make a bigger blanket, simply knit more increase rows before starting your decrease rows.
