The MJ44 Clutch
The Mary Jane 44 puts a unique twist on the classic clutch. Texture + function, this project works into a fun evening accessory.

Construction: 2 separate panels are crocheted using the marguerite stitch (aka star stitch), which is a 2 row repeat pattern. Next the base is added by turning the panels 90 degrees and crocheting into the hdc. The panels are then seamed together and a metal flex frame is sewn to the top.
Video + picture tutorials are included.
Modifications: A cotton blend yarn was used for the pattern, but really any yarn will work. I chose a solid color for both the base and body of the clutch, but play around with different color combos.
Note: The finished size includes the flex frame at the top.
