This pattern was a joint design between my mother and I. She came up with the idea and then I wrote up the pattern. There are two samples, my mother’s shawl is done in one colour and mine is done in two. The instructions in the pattern give details on how to copy my colour striping but you can always make it up as you go along.
The shawl is knit is knit from side point to side point instead of from top to bottom like a lot of triangular shawls are.

What you will need:

Yarn: DK weight yarn about 300g (I used Nurturing Fibres Eco-Fusion which is a 50% cotton 50% Rayon blend I used the colours Paris and London)

Needles: 5mm and 4mm

Progress keeper or safety pin to mark right side of work
