The Morroy Vest is the perfect vest for any season. This is a classic raglan worked back and forth on long circular needles top-down with raglan increases. This pattern is so customizable depending on your preferences for length. This vest should be worn with 3-6 inches/7-15 cm in positive ease at the chest.

Vest sizes: 3-4 years (5-6 years) 7-8 years (9-10 years) 11-12 years
The sizes 3-4 years (5-6 years) 7-8 years (9-10 years) 11-12 years correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 21-21.5 (22-23) 23.5-25 (25.5-27) 27.5-30 inches/53-55 (56-58) 59-63 (64-69) 70-76 cm.

Finished approx. measurements (after blocking):
Chest circumference
3-4 years 24.5 inches/62 cm
5-6 years 26.5 inches/67.5 cm
7-8 years 28.5 inches/73 cm
9-10 years 30.5 inches/78.5 cm
11-12 years 32.5 inches/84 cm

Gauge swatch (blocked):
14 stitches x 18 rows in stockinette stitch on the U.S. 10 (6 mm) needles = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm.

Suggested needles:
U.S. 10 (6 mm) circular needle (24 or 32 inches/60 or 80 cm); and U.S. 10 (6 mm) double-pointed needles (if the sleeves are not worked using the magic loop technique); or the necessary needle size to obtain gauge.

Suggested yarn:
Super Bulky (5-6 wpi) weight yarn (wool 100g (3.53Oz) = 106 yds (97 m): 220 (250) 280 (310) 350 g. FibraNatura Inca Solids (color: 43035) used.
