Last year I was looking for a Nativity scene for my living room. All the commercial scenes were either too expensive or too big, and none of the crochet patterns were “quite right”. So after ten months here is “my” nativity.

Quick and simple to make, ideal for the competent novice crocheter, as gauge is not important you can use any yarn and suitable hook but to make quite stiff figures about 2 inches high I used double knit and a 3 mm hook. enjoy.

This pattern uses SC/DC, Increases, decreases, front and back loop stitches
