The trip across the ocean had been difficult, Morganna
being full with child was weak and tired and Dermott was concerned.She was up on the deck when the saw The Statue of Liberty, she wept for the future and for what she left behind. The baby would be here soon, born in the land of opportunity, and yet she longed for the life she left behind. She had unraveled her best shawl and the hat, jumper and sock were waiting for the new babe. Soon she promised caressing her abdomen, and on my life I promise you we will go back home.

This is the continuation of Morganna and Dermott’s story. People in the south are now having to start over. This is three patterns for the price of one, a jumper, hat and socks for a baby.
