This is the seventeenth in a series of 24 linked patterns to be published daily in December 2016. The pattern for the box shaped like a book is published separately.

This is a simple pattern for the top window frame and the windowsill. No side frames are needed as the sides of the windows will be covered by the curtains. At this stage, some snowflakes can be added to the scene.
