The NOAH Beanie is worked in the round from the bottom up, using the mosaic (or slip stitch) knitting technique for colorwork to create a waffle type stitch.

YARN:
 ~75 yds of Bulky (5) weight yarn for your main color (MC)
For the Fold-Up Brim version, you will need ~110 yds for your main color (MC) Recommended: Malabrigo Mecha (100g / 130yds)
 ~40 yds of Bulky (5) weight yarn for your contrasting color (CC) Recommended: Malabrigo Mecha (100g / 130yds)
 Combine MC and CC yardages for a single color hat
 This particular pattern is written with 2 different colors (MC and CC).
 You can use up to 14 contrasting colors for this pattern (Great stash buster!!).
 You will need 3 yds of yarn for each contrasting color section

NEEDLES:
 US 9 (5.5mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
 US 10 (6.0mm) 16” Circular Knitting Needles
 US 10 (6.0 mm) Double Pointed Needles (optional)
